Serving on the School Board

Few values are more important to me than education, and public education is, I believe, one of the more important institutions in the United States. Since 2017 I have served as an elected public official for an urban district in Pennsylvania. Although urban education is chronically underfunded in Pennsylvania, the School District of Lancaster continues to provide a quality education to the community. I am proud to serve on the board and help guide public education in this community. As part of this work I have chaired the policy committee, helped to negotiate multiple union contracts, and worked to maintain a financially stable district.
