StoryTelling for New Media

Read Foucault, “What is an Author” from your course packet. It is not long but is dense and will take longer than the pages indicate (not as hard as Derrida but in that ballpark). When you have finished reading write a post to your blog about the reading. Rather than try and connect what he is saying to another story, try to summarize what you took to be the main point in a way that if Foucault read it he would agree, and point out/highlight any places you had difficulty understanding his argument. Please do this by Wed night as this will give me time to read them and tailor the lecture/discussion to fit your experiences with the reading.
