Here are your assignments for Tuesday.

• Set up your blog, see below. And remember to email me your blog’s url. (If this is your first email to me make sure that the subject line says ATEC 3325 or 3325 and contains your name in the body of the email.)
• Read the three assigned articles for Tuesday:
  - “Introduction” Bruns & Jacobs, Uses of Blogs
  - “Blogs and the Communication Renaissance” Rushkoff &
  Jacbos, Uses of Blogs
  - “What We Are Doing When We Blog” Meg Hourihan, O’ Reilly Web DevCenter
• Write a new post to your blog. Keeping in mind that the words “blog” and “blogsphere” are not as descriptive or precise as we might want (see Introduction to Uses of Blogs), from your familiarity with the medium what is one thing that is radically different about writing on blogs when compared to prior print modes, and what is one thing that is the same. (This should be roughly 300 words.) Hint: It probably helps to do this assignment after having done the reading. Due: Monday by 5:00pm
