For September 6th read Blown to Bits (the entire book save the appendix). If you did not get a copy of the book from the bookstore you can get one online. Whatever version you use make sure you bring it with you to class.

Additionally:

Set Up a Twitter Account

Register for the Class Wiki

Send me an email (from your preferred email account) containing your name, your Twitter name, and whatever name you used for the Class Wiki.

If you are in Group A you need to compile notes from the reading by noon on September 6th. (It is probably easier to do this as you go rather than all at once at 10:00am on Tuesday.)

If you need some help with the Wiki see below.

Go to the main Wiki page.

Click the link in the upper right to Create an Account

If you pick a user name other than your name make sure you email me so you can get credit for your work.

Once you have registered. Click on the link on the Main Page that says “Where We Stand”

Once you are on the “Where We Stand” click on the link that says “Edit.”

You are now on the edit page. If you aren’t comfortable editing wiki code click the link for “Rich Text Editor.”

Write.

Hit save.

(Email me with any problems.) ?
