<p>Write: Each group member should individually write a 500 word post to the group blog about the reading. Focus on only ONE aspect of the book, not the work in its entirety.  Post this by Tuesday at 7:00pm.</p>
<p>Group Project: Set up the group blog and email me the URL. Also you probably want to get started on the? research, looking for the material you will want the class to read.</p>

<p>First start by reading the Introduction.</p>
<p>Group A Read Part 1 &quot;The Opening of the Public Sphere&quot;</p>
<p>Group C Read Part 2 &quot;The Rise of Technological Networks&quot;</p>
<p>Group B Read Part 3 &quot;The Making of the Modern Media.&quot;</p>
<p>Each group should contirbute to the class wiki page for their respective sections. Group C will also cover the introduction. </p>
<p>Note: Group C is also going to be responsible for editing last weeks page on Plato, Ong, McLuhan. This is not do until two weeks from now, but in case you want to work on it in the interm . . .</p>
