I am an assistant professor of Emerging Media and Communications at the University of Texas at Dallas. Specifically I spend a lot of time thinking about how contemporary theory can help us to addresses questions about how technology (and langauge as technology) shapes the act of reading. I am also intrested in examining the way knowledge and the university changes as mediums for transmission and archivization become digital. I have also taught classes at The University at Albany and Simon's Rock College in Philosophy, Literature, and New Media.
